13 people killed in motor accident on Benin-Ore road


13 passengers died in a motor accident on the Benin-Ore road,at kilometre 53, before Ohosun town, zone 5.12 toll gate unit at 7.45 a.m  this morning. The accident, which involved two vehicles, was caused by the driver of the Anambra Mass Transit Toyota Hiace bus, with registration number YB 610 EPE (Lagos), who drove against traffic on the Benin-Ore lane.
The driver faced an oncoming Iveco truck descending a slope, resulting in head-on collision.The bus was coming from Lagos carrying traders dealing in electronics and 13 out of the passengers in the bus died, while three people survived including the truck driver. Victims, were taken to Shiloh Hospital, Ugbogui in Edo  for treatment while corpses were deposited at the mortuary of the same hospital.
May their souls rest in peace...amen!

    I wonder why our drivers are always in the business of exposing peoples' life to death.
    I know one of the victims, he was the best boy of the house, the bread winner of the family, the best young man among the youths of our church (Assemlies of God chuch 97 umule Road Aba),the leader of the youth choir (TMC), an exco.in Aba north distric choir of Assemlies of God, an exco. in umuocham sectional choir of Assemblies of God, an evangelist his name is SOLOMON. SOLO, Triuphant Mass Choir is confused,since God has permited your death we can't change it. WITH A BROKEN HEART WE SAY R.I.P SOLOMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON.
