Yesterday, I repoted that Shakira, 35, had welcomed a son with partner Gerard Piqué,25, after he Tweeted the 'happy news' in Spanish. 'Ya ha nacido nuestro hijo! Estamos muy felices! Gracias a todos por vuestros mensajes!,' wrote the Barcelona soccer ace.
In English, that translates as: 'Our son was born! We're very happy! Thank you all for your messages.'
But a source confirmed to E! News that the Twitter prank was simply Gerard taking part in Dia de los Inocentes, which is the Spanish equivalent of April Fool's Day, they also confirmed it with her spokesperson.
Gerard Piqué, that joke wasn't funny at all!
